About

Most design studios sell you a look. We've never worked that way, because what actually changes how someone lives in a room isn't the colour on the wall. It's whether the room understands who's standing in it.

JLCD started with two educations that turned out to be the same one: a background in youth and child care with a focus on psychology, and a training in graphic design. One taught how people actually develop and what they need at each stage of life. The other taught how to build the environments that hold them. We haven't stopped studying since. Neuropsychology, sociology, neuroscience, art, music. Because the work has never really been about furniture. It's about people.

That belief takes a different shape depending on who we're building for, but underneath, it's the same one every time: a home is never just a backdrop. It's part of the life lived inside it.

OUR VISION

The First Curriculum

A home is never just a backdrop. It shapes the life lived inside it, every day, whether or not anyone designed it to. That belief, that a space actively teaches, supports, and holds the person living in it, is the foundation behind every JLCD project.

Four lines, One Belief

Wallstory, Wonderarium, and Wellnest carry that belief to different points in a life, from a child's bedroom to a retiree's kitchen. Wellogic is the record behind each one: the research, the reasoning, and the proof behind every choice we make.

MEET OUR TEAM

The JLCD team brings together design, psychology, and storytelling into every project. Each person studies the people we're building for as closely as the space itself, so every choice, from the layout to the words that describe it, comes from actually understanding who will live there.
